DAY 18 IN ECUADOR!

 Hey guys Mac and Charley checking in again! 

Today we had another fun filled day of surveying. We started the day off with a wonderful breakfast at the hotel. We immediately started surveying around 9am. It was fun to get another day of surveying under our belts and get more adjusted to surveyed on Santa Cruz. After a morning of hard work, we had lunch at the lucky bird which was another delicious five dollar meal. Then we went back to the hotel and dropped off all the surveying supplies and got prepared for a busy afternoon of shopping. We all definitely did some damage and even managed to buy 28 pairs of socks between the six of us. After a few too many ice cream cones and with a little bit less money in our wallets, we headed out again to survey some more around 4pm. We had a lot of fun surveying in the afternoon and got to interact with a lot of locals at the playground near the pier. After a few hours, we went back to the hotel and had a fun night in. We ordered pizza to the hotel and watched Pitch Perfect. It was a wonderful and relaxing end to a long day in the sun! Can’t wait to see what the next few days bring!
