DAY 25 IN ECUADOR!
Hey guys Mac and Charley checking in again!
We had our last survey day today! We started off the day thinking it would be an excursion day, but because of a weather mishap we switched some dates around. Because of this, we started our day a little bit late, but we still managed to work incredibly hard and make it our best survey day yet! In total, we got over 200 surveys for the day, and we managed to make our total trip goal of 1,500 surveys! Everyone went above and beyond to hit our goal, but our most definite MVP was Victoria! Right as we were about to stop surveying, Victoria realized she was two surveys short of her personal best. Immediately, it became a team effort and we made sure that she finished the day with a wild 57 surveys to break her own personal record. She got the most surveys every single time, and she alone accounted for over 28% of the total numbers! We’re all so impressed by her dedication to the research that we’ve been doing! To celebrate reaching our goal, we went out to Midori’s Sushi! Overall, an incredible day to wrap up our research portion of the trip!
Adios!
