Day 10 in Galapagos!

 Hi all! Today we woke up and had a nice breakfast before we went to the local hospital on San Cristobal. It was super interesting and we learned a lot about the healthcare throughout the Galapagos. This hospital on San Cristobal gets all of the severe cases from the other islands which I thought was very interesting as they are still needing more specialists, equipment, staff, and funding in order to be able to care for all. After we visited the hospital we took a quick detour to the hotel and got ready for a day of surveying. We surveyed from eleven am till about five pm. Luckily we all worked so hard and were able to get around 200 in total just from today! I’m so proud of our group and how far we’re coming in just a few days. When we were done we capped off our night getting tacos and taking a nice walk along the pier. We got back pretty early because tomorrow we have an exciting day planned at kicker rock!! We can’t wait, follow along for more!!
