Our Final Day in Ecuador

 Hey guys!

Today was our last and final day as a group of 8 together. We said our final goodbye to Di, our USFQ representative, before heading to the airport. Our journey off the island included two bus rides and a boat ride. We saw both yellow and red land iguanas on our way, almost like they were giving us a final farewell. Once we arrived in Quito, we got settled in our rooms and met for dinner. At dinner, we reminisced over the past 5 weeks, things we were grateful for, and key memories. I know I speak for everyone when I say that this trip has been unforgettable and life-changing. We have had the opportunity to experience so many fantastic excursions, see a wide variety of wildlife, and connect with the locals on a deeper level. We have been surrounded by so many compassionate and helpful people from USFQ who made us feel at home and comfortable. Thank you to everybody who made this experience what it was, from the numerous naturalist guides to our OPI friends at USFQ, to of course Dr. M.

We will forever remember this summer!

Signing off for the last time from Ecuador,

Vickie
