Day 11 in San Cristobal/Galapagos

We began today with a homemade breakfast and then we started to survey! We began at a local church, where we talked to quite a few residents. We walked down to the pier where we surveyed until 1 PM and then we sat down for lunch at Hotel Indigo. The World Cup had just began so we were able to watch the game while we ate. It was a very long, but great game! Afterwards, we continued surveying where then I was stung by a wasp :( Thankfully, it stung me through my shirt so I don’t think the pain was as bad as it could have been (it still hurt pretty bad though) We wrapped up surveying and went back to the hotel to relax before dinner. Dinner tonight was at Umami, where there was a variety of pasta, burgers, and poke bowls. I got pasta pomodoro, which was super good! We went to the ice cream shop and we all got some delicious ice cream, the tiramisu is my favorite! We enjoyed each other’s company and then walked back to hotel for bed, where we also ran in to a sleeping sea lion!
