Day 25- Isabela/Santa Cruz

 

After a long day at the beach yesterday, we all decided to sleep in a bit and did breakfast around 8:30 this morning. We had a variety of fresh fruit and eggs. It was delicious! Afterwards some of us went to check out Pearl Shell (Perla Concha), a semi-inclosed tide pool that you could swim in. I dipped my toes in and it was super cold so we decided to just sightsee! We went back to the hotel and waited for the ferry to take us back to Santa Cruz. In the meantime, we played lots of Rummikub and enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of chicken, fish, and pork chops with rice and beans. Around 1:50, the taxi picked up our luggage and we walked to the pier and got onto the ferry. The ride was a little rough leaving a few of us feeling quite seasick…

We arrived at the hotel and relaxed until dinner. Dinner tonight had a large variety with lobster, pasta, and chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the whole lobster was quite a showstopper. We made a quick stop at a gelato restaurant, and then went back to the hotel to shower and get ready for bed! See you tomorrow!
