Day 16 in Ecuador!

Hey y'all it's Brian!

We had to leave our hotel in San Cristobal today at 6:00 AM as our boat ride to Santa Cruz was at 7:00 AM. The ride was around 2 hours long where we all felt a little dizzy afterwards due to the up and down motion of the waves for the duration of the ride. But as soon as we got to Santa Cruz we felt excited to begin again on a new island! After getting accommodated into our new hotels, we had lunch at Golden Prague that was much needed after that boat ride. After, we walked along the seaside, familiarizing ourselves with the area to prepare for our upcoming survey days while also doing some window shopping (and actual shopping) along the way!

We finished our first night in Santa Cruz by eating dinner at Bahia Mar, where the restaurant is right on the sea as we watched the night begin to grow that finished off a busy but eventful first day in Santa Cruz!
